چکیده
More than 90 % of newly diagnosed cases endocrine cancer occur in the thyroid gland. Introduction fine needle puncture gland, with classification cytological material according to Bethesda system, has become cornerstone diagnosis malignant neoplasms However, traditionally this there remains a weak link called follicular tumor (category IV). The detection does not allow one reliably classify mass as benign or and requires surgical intervention morphological verification. In recent years, possibilities molecular genetic testing have improved markedly. Follicular tumors tend accumulate mutations, which over time can lead transformation, but also be used method timely diagnosis. This review analyzes literature on assessing potential formations

Prognostic analyses of thyroid carcinomas of follicular cell origin were carried out on patients treated at Kuma Hospital, Kobe, Japan. A new histopathological classification based on the prognostic evidence is proposed in this study, and it is applicable to the patients treated curatively. Major histological types of papillary carcinoma, follicular carcinoma and poorly differentiated carcinoma...

Thyroid follicular cell tumors arise in rodents from mutations, perturbations of thyroid and pituitary hormone status with increased stimulation of thyroid cell growth by thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), or a combination of the two. The only known human thyroid carcinogen is ionizing radiation. It is not known for certain whether chemicals that affect thyroid cell growth lead to human thyroid...
